We have been messing around on Stand Up Paddle Boards for quite a while here at CCA, its got a lot in common with our favourite pastime of :generally getting on the water on any craft possible and our two main passions of  Surfing and Kayaking.

Many of the strokes used to manouvere and control SUP boards are similar to Canoe and Kayak paddle strokes that all of us as kayak/Canoe instructors are very familiar with and experienced at  teaching. The other part of balancing on the board comes quite naturally to us as we are all addicted to Surfing!

We have started to offer introduction to SUP sessions in Cornwall at our base in Port Quin. Until you have stood on a board and paddled around the crystal clear water of Port Quin on a high tide, you wont understand how much fun it is and what a unique perspective you get of the North Cornish Coast.

We hope to get you Standing up and paddling around in control by the end of a session, although you may get a bit wet in the process!
